About our Program

Magnet's Fencing program is very unique. Every student at Caddo Magnet High School has the option to take a fencing class either to fulfill his/her physical education requirement (3 semesters) or as an elective. There are five fencing classes every day during the average school day at Magnet. The average class has about 25 students. Sixth hour, the last class of the regular day, is comprised mostly of members of the Magnet Fencing team.

For the last 25 years the fencing program has continued to grow in may different ways. With an averag of 125 fencing students each year, approximately 3500 students have been a part of fencing at Magnet.
